Yasen Zgurovski was born in 1974 in the city of Gubkin, Russia, graduated from the NBU in Sofia - specialty "Animation director" with Prof. Ivan Veselinov, and currently lives and works in Sofia. Zgurovski describes his style as queer trash and psychedelic pop, inspired by classical Russian ‘multfilmi’ (cartoons), tattoo art, American pin-up, retro kitsch and robots. His illustrations are featured in mant editions of Bulgarian and foreign press.
