Artist Profile
Yeji Jeon
Korean artist
Yeji Jeon (b. 1993, Seoul, South Korea) earned her B.F.A. from Art Center College of Design in California, USA, in 2017. She uses BFK printmaking paper to create the feeling of a digital print by using only lines and shapes, crossing between digital and analog sensibilities to adapt to the changing reality, but it is a style of painting that tries to maintain the unique sensibility that the artist learned and grew up with. Her artistic influences draw from surrealism, fauvism, and the historical evolution of flower arrangements. She has conducted five solo exhibitions and participated in various group exhibitions in South Korea.
