Zoë Papini comes from a family of Italian artists and artisans. She was born in Florence and brought to New York as a toddler. However, she came to art somewhat accidentally, after taking a painting class in college. Zoe’s practice extends to printmaking, drawing, and photography, and my subject matter is almost exclusively portraiture.
