Alexis Neumann Named June Winner of ART LIMITLESS Competition

Alexis Neumann Named June Winner of ART LIMITLESS Competition

We are proud to announce Alexis Neumann as the June winner of the ART LIMITLESS competition. A multidisciplinary artist, scholar, and curator, Alexis creates powerful interactive installations and mixed media works that explore Disability Studies, Theology, and Intersectionality. Her practice is deeply informed by her lived experience with multiple invisible illnesses, using materials like vinyl, copper wire, and light to challenge perceptions of disability and reveal the richness of embodied life.

As an advocate for equity in the arts, Alexis uplifts the voices of other disabled artists through her curatorial work, highlighting the generative knowledge disability brings to creative spaces. She holds degrees in Visual Studies and Critical Studies from Pacific Northwest College of Art at Willamette University and the University of Washington.

As the June winner, Alexis will be featured across our platforms and becomes eligible for the €1,000 grand prize to be awarded in September 2025. Her work stands as a testament to the strength, insight, and complexity artists with disabilities contribute to the cultural landscape.
Congratulations to Alexis Neumann on this inspiring achievement!
