BE OPEN Art is pleased to announce Anastazie Anderson as the Artist of the Month for September 2025, chosen through a public vote from a shortlist of emerging talents featured on our online gallery.
Born in 1995 in Prague, Czech Republic, and now based in the UK, Anastazie Anderson is a Czech-British painter whose large-scale works blend visual references from social media, photography, and cinema with the traditions of modernist painting. Her emotionally charged scenes crafted through flattened forms, interpolated colour, and dreamlike imagery explore the blurred boundaries between memory and imagination.
At the end of the year, one monthly winner will be named Artist of the Year 2025. The selected artist will receive a €1,000 prize and benefit from a dedicated promotional campaign to support their artistic journey. Congratulations to Anastazie Anderson on this well-earned recognition!
