BE OPEN Art is pleased to announce Rio Skor, a Montreal-based sculptor, as its Artist of the Month for March 2025, as voted by art enthusiasts worldwide among those featured in our online gallery.
Skor, who initially trained as an architect before returning to her passion for sculpture, refined her skills in hand-carving marble in Carrara, Italy. Her current work explores form and material, informed by her architectural background and her hands-on experience with sculpting.
At the end of 2025, out of the monthly winners BE OPEN Art Community will select the Artist of the Year, who will be awarded a 1000 euro prize and offered publicity aimed at boosting their career.
